My Car
After the Firefly class ship from the show “Firefly”.
Serenity had been running like shit for a few weeks. I was figuring it to be from running the car on a nearly empty tank for a week, scraping up change to get a couple more bucks into the tank. I was guessing that maybe I would need to change the fuel filter, which looks like a fucking job on my car.
Heard a strange noise a week ago, opened the hood and saw that I was getting arc from the spark plug wire at the distributor. Today, Chuck and I took a look, changed the plugs (which needed changing) and found that the problem wouldn’t go away. Changed the wires and like magic, all was good. Thanks again, Chuck!
I changed the oil and changed the air filter while I was at it. I see I need a new rear tire as well, but that’ll hold for a couple of days.
If only I could do something about that primary buffer panel…
